Terms and Conditions

This website is owned and operated by Ren Beauty Ltd. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors a selection of beauty treatments and services that can be provided at the salon premises. By accessing or using the website of our service, or booking an appointment for any treatment, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.


Who can use this website

In order to use our website and/or receive our services, you must be at least 18 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancelling or rescheduling an appointment please consider that we have a 24-hour notice policy, otherwise a 50% fee will be charged. In the event of a "no-show" for your appointment we will charge 100% of the reserved appointment fee. It’s our policy to take deposits for appointments 1 hour and over.

Please note that all prepayments products and gift vouchers are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Patch Test Policy

We kindly ask you to carefully ready all treatment descriptions before booking your appointments. We provide treatments that require a 'patch test' 48 hours in advance. A patch test is an application of the desired treatment to a small discreet area of skin to test for allergic reactions.

When booking any treatment which requires a patch test, please note that you agree to visit us in person for the patch test 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. You can book your free patch test at the same time as booking your treatment (just select the "patch test" treatment) or via phone call, WhatsApp or email.

In the event of an imminent appointment without a valid patch test we'll do our best to proactively contact you and prompt you to make arrangements, but in busy periods this might not always be possible. We'll always try our best to find a solution for the client; but in the case of repeated cancelled appointments due to a failure to book a required patch test on the part of the client, we do reserve the right to charge the full treatment fee if the appointment can't be rearranged within a 48 hour window prior to the start time. 

 

Medical Conditions

Please ensure you inform us prior to booking of any medical conditions (pregnancy, for example) as they may affect the suitability and safety of certain treatments and we will advise accordingly. Clients are consulted about medical conditions on their first visit but clients must inform the salon of any changing or new conditions

Payment

We accept most major credit and debit cards. All prices are inclusive of VAT at current rate. Online payments are taken via our partner Treatwell but payments made in person will be taken via Sumup, bank transfer, or cash. It's our policy to require a 50% deposit on treatments longer than 1hr, which will be required at the time of booking, and full payment will be required 48 hours before scheduled appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours of the treatment day will require full payment, and cancellations within 48 days of the treatment date will incur the loss of the 50% deposit.

Personal Items

Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items. Any unclaimed items will eventually be given to charity.

 

Returns Policy

Any physical product (such as an Alumiere beauty product) can be returned within for 14 days at no charge if unopened with the seal still intact as per the Sales of Goods act. The refund will be issued via the same payment method as the original purchase and proof of purchase may be required. Items can only be returned if in a resellable condition and therefore no opened item will be accepted, unless in the case of an allergic reaction in which case the item will be accepted if within 14 days of the purchase date and photographic evidence of the adverse reaction is submitted.

With Online and Postal sales if a return is required due to a mistake on our side then the goods must be returned prior to issuing the refund and we can credit them with the postage. Should a postal sale customer ‘change their mind’ they can return this with the above terms but the postage will not be refunded. Should goods be damaged when they arrive then the customer needs to provide evidence of this and they are covered by the goods in transit act and it states that it is our property until it is with them. At the discretion of management we will make a decision to issue a discount refund, a replacement and in the last instant a full refund.

 

Punctuality and Courtesy

Kindly note that late arrivals may cut short treatment time if another client is booked immediately after you. In this case appointments must end at their scheduled time, to avoid inconveniencing other clients, and will be charged in full. If it's your first time visiting Ren Beauty, please arrive 10 minutes prior to the treatment start time so we can move through our personal consultation process to discuss your needs and aims, and any relevant medical conditions we need to be aware of.

Animals

Unfortunately for health & safety reasons we cannot accommodate animals in the salon, though of course assistance dogs are permitted. If you are a service user of assistance dogs please let us know in advance and we will make arrangements to accommodate you.

Wheelchair access

For reasons of space and lift access we unfortunately can't accommodate wheelchair users.

What information do we collect?

Information security and privacy is of utmost importance to us at Ren Beauty. We never sell or share information and only collect the bare minimum we need to provide the best possible service for you. You can request a copy of the data we hold about you at any time, or even ask us to remove or destroy that data if you wish.

For total transparency here are the types of data we store about you:

  •  Contact details (phone, email). We use these for appointment reminders and we may (from time to time) ask you to leave a review after an appointment. By booking an appointment with us we assume that you consent to this but you can opt out at any time at all - just let us know.

  • Medical Issues

Mobile Phones

In the interest of providing the best treatment possible and maintaining a pleasant and courteous environment for all our clients and neighbours, we ask that you please refrain from using your mobile phone for the duration of your appointment.

Children

We cannot accommodate children under 16 in the salon unless they are expressly supervised by an adult (who is not yourself). If you wish to bring a child with supervision to your appointment, please inform us ahead of time. t


Key commercial Terms 
When buying an item or service, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item or service listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.
The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur


Retention of right to change offering
We may, without prior notice, change the services price or descriptions; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.


Copyright & Ownership of intellectual property
All digital and printed media, including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of Ren Beauty Ltd. Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof.


Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ren Beauty Ltd harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.


Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Ren Beauty Ltd, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ren Beauty Ltd assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.


Right to change and modify Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.


Promotional emails and content
You agree to receive from time to time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify us at any time. 


Preference of law and dispute resolution
These Terms, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the services, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of the United Kingdom, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in London, England. The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is hereby expressly excluded.
